PERENCANAAN INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR LIMBAH INDUSTRI MINUMAN SARI BUAH DENGAN KOMBINASI SISTEM ANAEROB DAN AEROB DI AGROWISATA BATU

Abstract

ABSTRAK:Industri minuman sari buah juga termasuk industri pangan dengan potensi pencemaran lingkungan dari hasil limbahnya. Limbah minuman sari buah yang dihasilkan belum sesuai dengan baku mutu air sesuai peraturan pemerintah. Hasil analisis air limbah di PERUM JASA TIRTA didapatkan kandungan BOD 427 mg/L, COD 1.393,3 mg/L, TSS 242,7 mg/L, pH 5,1. Berdasarkan kriteria air limbah yang dihasilkan ditentukan pengolahan anaerob menggunakan sistem biakan aliran turun dan pengolahan aerob menggunakan sistem biakan melekat tercelup dengan aliran turun. Hasil dari perencanaan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah ini berdasarkan efisiensi yang direncanakan pada setiap bak maka didapatkan perkiraan kualitas effluent BOD 5,07 mg/L, COD 16,55 mg/L, TSS 0,26 mg/L, pH 6,7. Kualitas effluent ini sudah sesuai dengan baku mutu yang ditetapkan Keputusan Gubernur Jatim Nomor 72 Tahun 2013 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah Bagi Industri dan/atau Kegiatan Usaha Lainnya.

ABSTRACT: Beverage industry also includes the food industry with the potential for environmental pollution from the waste products. Beverage Industry produced are not in accordance with water quality standards according to government regulations. Results of analysis of wastewater at PERUM JASA TIRTA obtained BOD content of 427 mg / L, COD 1,393.3 mg / L, TSS 242.7 mg / L, pH 5.1. Based on the criteria for wastewater, anaerobic treatment is determined using downflow attached growth and aerobic processing using downflow submerged attached growth processes. The results of the planning of this Wastewater Treatment Plant are based on the planned efficiency of each tank so that the estimated quality of BOD effluent is 5.07 mg / L, COD 16.55 mg / L, TSS 0.26 mg / L, pH 6.7. The quality of this effluent is in accordance with the quality standards established by the East Java Governor Decree Number 72 of 2013 concerning Waste Water Quality Standards for Industries and / or Other Business Activities.
